Sweet 8 inch sweetheart..

This is Sweet Annie.... I recreated her from an antique doll owned by a dear lady who gave me permission to recreate her, thanks Annie! She reminds me of an old german doll. I just love her... She is made of cloth and clay papier mache. She is 8 inches tall.

Geez...some of the pics are really bright!! I will retake them tomorrow!

Good evening all...This is Kizzie and Claire, a topsy turvy doll that I have created in the style of an Izannah Walker doll. She is only 7 1/2 inches from head to head. These little gems came to life before the Civil War. I just listed them on ebay so pop over and take a look!

Adelaide off to her new home..

Good morning! This is Adelaide, or Addy as we call her. She is such a little gem, she measures 10 1/2 inches tall. Addy is a special order from the sweetest lady I have ever had the pleasure to work with on a special order. We has such FUN!! Addy will certainly have a very good home with her, thanks Nancy.

Izannah Walker inspired Pincushion dolls....

I just finished two Izannah Walker inspired Pincushion dolls. They measure just shy of 6 inches tall. They are weighted a bit and firmly stuff. They are functional pincushions or are just happy sitting on a shelf.

Serena is dressed in blue toile reproduction civil war fabric that is soo tiny and sweet. She is for sale now at our Kindred Sisters selling blog.

Leah is dressed in a turkey red and tan reproduction civil war fabric just in time for Valentine"s Day. She will be listed on ebay tonight along with many other Kindred Sisters Valentine goodies so be sure to stop in ebay and check it out!

My New Creations...

Good evening all..just thought I would share my newest little creations! They are the sweetest little girls! They are pendants made of paperclay and are weighted a bit. They measure just shy of 2 inches. They have been painted with quality artists paints and heavily aged with stain an crackle then sealed. They will come with three neck cords one in black, tan and medium brown. Each will be 36 inches long so you can cut them to your desired length.

They look just wonderful with a tee shirt and a great pair of jeans!

The ice is back!

Good frosty morning is 4 degrees now and our ice is on the bay. You know what that fishing!! We are now open for icefishing season so it is up at 5:30 to plow the snow and open the bait shop. I have a super hubby that gives me my precious time to work on my art. I have 8 things in the works and should have two finished by Tuesday. One will be for ebay and the other for our selling blog..Kindred Sisters Gathering Post blog. I will post pics of them here too. I am very excited about these new origional designs!
