Fraktur Bird Stitchery...

Good day all! I really think spring is just around the corner here in upstate New York and I can't wait! I am offering the sweetest little fraktur bird stitchery. The colors are more muted in person. We have such bright sunshine here today that the camera is in shock!LOL

This sampler is mounted in a 8 x 10 wood picture frame that I have aged and painted flat black. It is also matted, which I have also aged with globs, drops and stains to give a lovely vintage look. The sampler measures 5 x 7 and I have stitched this on 30 count Belfast linen in brick red, dark mustard, dark colonial blue and moss green, which has also been aged. It is not covered with glass.

I have added brown paper to the back of the frame as well as a sawtooth hanger so it is ready to hang for you to enjoy. Thank you Beth for the lovely cross stitch chart!! You can find more of her charts at Heartstringssamplery by Beth Twist.

It's so nice to find your blog, Kimberly. I am in Cloth and Clay and love the style of dolls you make. Also, congratulations for having your two sweet dolls highlighted in PRIMS.
