This is Marabelle.  She is a Queen Anne inspired cloth and clay little girl measuring 11 inches.  I use all vintage fabrics and trims for her clothing.  She has hand molded hair which is my favorite!  She has a custom wood stand with vintage music paper applied on top.  She is heavily crackled and stained for a time worn look and feel.

Marabelle has been adopted and is on her way to Yuma!  Thank you again Jane!

My poor Dad....

Just got home from a month away. My dad had a bad fall and fractured his neck, broke his collar bone, two ribs and his hand. My mom is not well so we went down to help out. It is a very difficult thing when your parents live so far away and your time with them is limited. My hubby made a platform and attached it to the bottom of his recliner so he can get out of it by himself. We did a few other things around the house to make life easier for them both. On top of that my Mother-in-law is not well either. She has stage three kidney and liver failure and her heart is not good. She is home now but we don't think it will be long and she will have to go to a nursing home for 24hr care. Needless to say this past couple months have been extremely stressful for my husband and me. But we are home now and I have all my Christmas decorating finished and I am finishing up a little girl, a Queen Anne inspired doll. to pick out fabrics for her little dress! Always and forever, Kimberly

Creating new little girls!

Again, the summer has flown by.  We have had a very busy summer season here at the campground and are getting ready to close up for the season.  I can't wait to get to my doll making again.  I have certainly missed it this past summer.
This summer we relaced all carpet and vinyl flooring in all the cottages and motel rooms.  What a job that was!  On top of that hubby finally built his 40 x 40 workshop/garage for boat repair and then we sided the house and workshop.  We are so tired!
Still trying to convince my Mom and Dad, who are 76 this year to move closer to me here in NY.  They need help as their health problems are growing.  It is such a worry to me that they are living so far away.
So...needless to say I am ready for some "doll therapy"!
I should have a little girl available for adoption in November so check back for a look! I hope everyone has had a wonderful summer. I know I am so looking forward to winter and my coal stove...LOL! Blessings, Kimberly
